The Club Christmas Party turned out awesome!
We had a great turn out and had a lot of fun. For those that were unable to attend, we hope you will join us next year.
We started with the potluck. Michelle made a great ham and my wife made some dutch oven roast turkey. We had a lot of great food including all kinds of salads, desserts, rolls, you name it we had it. It has always amazed me how non-assigned pot lucks always seem to work out and this time was no exception. Thank you to all who brought your favorite dishes. It was all great!
The white elephant gift exchange went great and was a ton of fun. I knew the origin of some of the gifts but not all. I think Terry (Michelle Harding's husband), Lloyd Blackburn, and then Scott Anderson had the most exchanges. They just happened to get too many good things ;) It was a good time and everyone left with something. I ended up getting some purple Christmas lights. I am thinking of decorating Rusty's van when he's not looking :)
We got a bit of a late start so we were a bit hurried on the slideshow but we had 105 images submitted for the slideshow. all awesome work and it was great to have a sorta year in review. Thank you for submitting your images. Next year we will find an audio system and have a little music to go along with it. I tried to get everyone to sing the club song which, according to Michele H, is 99 bottles of bear on the wall (maybe rootbeer) but no takers.
Rusty put together an awesome video with clips and stills from the night. Thank you Rusty!
Make sure you have your speakers on, Rusty chose some nice, soothing Christmas music to accompany it.

And a big thanks to all of you and especially for those who arrived early and stayed late to help set up and take down.
We have some exciting changes activities coming up and are looking forward to next year.
Michele, Summer, Rusty, and myself, wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!
