Comment by Whit Green on February 12, 2012 at 3:25pm Thanks. Hope you try this soon. Great way to make a big mess.
Comment by Colin Foyle on February 19, 2012 at 5:07pm I like this. How did you do it? Is it actually mixing food coloring in water, or something else?
Comment by Whit Green on February 19, 2012 at 9:48pm It's latex house paint poured into a 10 gallon aquarium. The aquarium had a black background and I fired the flash from the side. Had basically one chance to fire off as many shots as I could before the paint dissolved in the tank. 10 seconds worth of shots and an hour to clean up and set up for the next shot. I want to try with an oil based paint to get different textures.
Comment by Colin Foyle on February 19, 2012 at 9:57pm WOW! If you do it again, can I come along? Need to learn some more of this creative stuff before I move back to UK... LOL. May never get a chance to do it again.
Comment by Whit Green on February 19, 2012 at 10:10pm I set this up in my bathtub. It was incredibly crowded! I live in an apartment, so I don't have a backyard or a hose to make things easier. But if we can find someone that does I will bring my paint and aquarium!
Comment by Colin Foyle on February 19, 2012 at 10:12pm I have a back yard and a hose... LOL... We are getting ready to sell though, so can't make any permanent mess... I am in Layton.
