NOTE: when you receive emails from the club website, you must
login and respond on the website. It says it in the email but it is
easy to overlook. It also does not tell you that it didn't get back
to the sender. So, remember to respond to emails from someone on
the club website by going to your mail on the website and hitting
reply there.
This page is assembled to give new, prospective, and
existing members information on-

Photographix Camera Club Community Standards
We desire a place where all feel welcome and comfortable. We don't
want to censor or restrict what you upload and share but this is a
family oriented website and we wish to keep it as such. Think of
this website as rated 'G' or 'PG' at the most and you will be safe.
We have developed the community standards in order to define what
is expected from members to accomplish this goal. The website
should be a site that it is safe for viewing in any environment
with any audience. We have enlisted moderators to help us in
monitoring the website to ensure compliance to the community
standards.
Image content- We do not allow nudity, graphic sex acts,
sexually explicit material, grotesque, morbid, or other disturbing
imagery. Nudity or sexually explicit would include things such as
showing undergarments or overly suggestive poses. This can be hard
to define. For instance, there does not need to be nudity to have
it be sexually explicit. This will be left to the moderators
discretion based on community standards.
Notices- If you have an image that is deemed to violate this
standard by one of our moderators, the image will immediately be
removed from the site and you will receive a notice. Repeated
violations of the ‘image content’ policy may result in membership
suspension and/or removal of your account.
Appeal- We have the utmost confidence in our moderators but
image content can lead to some interpretation. If you have received
a notice and would like to appeal the decision, please send me an
email and I
will review it with a group of at least three independent
photographers for compliance to the image content standard.
