Go for it! Critique away!

Here is a photo  that I was going to enter into the state fair under creative/digitally manipulated. I was told by a few that I should and by a few that I should not because it was "to weird"  

What is your opinion on the photo.. to weird? Should I have entered this one or not?

Cool thanks! Too weird for red state culture but I think it's very thought provoking.  What if there's a planet in the Universe that has a way to reproduce animals, plants or whatever it may be? If we shut our minds off to possibilities we limit the possibilities of the Universe which, IMO, are limitless.
