For Photographers of All Skill levels since 2005
All,
Here's the very first Photo Challenge for the Photographix group. I am keeping this one a little vague to see what you all come up with.... The Subject is:
ACTION

Do we just upload the photo normally?
For the time being, and this will more than likely change, just upload as a reply to this post
Everyone,
For now, just post the photos to this Challenge as a reply to this discussion and include your photos. I will be posting mine today, in fact within the next few minutes.
We will give you until end of day Sunday to post for this Challenge, then I'll post the next.
The idea of the Challenge came about because I mentioned to Doug, that I wanted to find a way to take more photos, of things that I don't usually take. I was looking for a book, or website that would give me either a monthly/weekly/daily challenge. Well, me and my big mouth has got me in trouble again, and now I come up with the Challenges. No problem, it will be good for me. If anyone has suggestions of ideas for Challenges they's like to see send me a message.
Also, the subjects are open to interpretations. So, with this current challenge, ACTION, you can use the water drop pictures from last night, or others if you like. Or any sporting event (that's what I am using, as I don't normally photograph sporting events), anything else, that could be interpreted as action (even a picture of feet walking or running would work too). Hope that helps if anyone has been struggling with this new venture.
Thanks
Colin.
Here's my picture:
A little background. I went to the Utah Gymnastics on last Friday against BYU. No, I am not going to get into the rivalry part... LOL. I took this picture, and felt it fitted nicely into the Challenge.
Let's see if the picture attaches ok.
I doubt I can find the RAW file. I was wondering why it has so much chromatic abberation, I don't think I have had that much trouble with it before. I know how to fix it around the edges, but not this much.
You have to watermark everything because people suck.
